What is Student Minds Cambridge?
Student Minds Cambridge is a student group of the national charity, Student Minds (registered in England and Wales under charity number 1142783). Our aims are to engage with students and University staff about the subject of mental health in the university, to campaign for better provisions inside the university and, by changing the culture of high intensity terms and competitive teaching styles, we hope to promote the idea of being mentally healthy.
Who made this website?
This website was created by two Student Minds committee members, Jonny Hart and Carolyn Irvine. We are grateful to the entire committee for their help and support throughout the process, and particularly to Shadab Ahmed for helping us bring the project to completion.
Where did you get this information from?
We have done our best to ensure the accuracy of the information we have provided on the site. However, it is provided on an 'information only' basis, and we cannot be held liable or responsible for any errors or omissions. Information on charities, student, college and university support services has been taken directly from their websites, and we have consulted the services where possible to ensure the accuracy of that information. Information on the self-care and supporting others pages has been drawn from a number of online sources, as well as resources from CUSU. If you would like details on these sources, contact Carolyn at email@example.com.
I'd like to get involved, what can I do?
We're always keen to get people involved! If you'd like to get involved as a college rep, get in touch with our rep co-ordinator Carolyn at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or you can simply like the Facebook page for updates on events you can get involved in.
Can I make a suggestion for a support service to be added to the website?
Of course! We want the website to include as many resources as possible. Get in touch using our 'contact us' form below.
When will my college's page be ready?
We're still in the process of collecting all the information for all the colleges. We aim to have all colleges' information pages up by the end of Michaelmas 2017.
